Update on how all of your donations are continuing to help the local community after the damage that was caused by Hurricane Kay.
Starting in early September, our staff began the cleanup process and organized two full beach cleanups with the town. Thanks to the many donations we received, they were supplied with all the necessary materials to perform a full beach cleanup.
During the first week of October, we began the process of helping the nearby ranchers. Thanks to the donations we received, our staff was able to assemble various aid packages with food and necessities.
Earlier this week, members of our staff visited some of the local ranches and hand delivered items they were in need of. All of the ranchers were very gracious for the donations they received and thankful for the people who donated.
So far, we have visited 28 Ranch families and around 80 people total. We only have 2 Ranches left to deliver to and with that, we would be covering all of the ranches that belong to the San Juanico delegation!
The locals are very thankful for the support everyone provided, they will be forever grateful for you!
