Construction has been completed on a new airport, the first to be built in Baja for over a decade, in San Juanico, Baja California Sur, home to one of the best and longest waves in the world. Its purpose will be to improve medical services and emergency response capabilities, and allow easy access for non-profit organizations, educators, government representatives, and Members of the El Aeropuerto de Scorpion Bay Club.
